DHSV Verifications

Completions / Workovers

ScanWell ensures well integrity through advanced critical valve evaluations, using EzScan and Keller Leo systems for DHSV functionality tests, leak rate analysis, and hydrocarbon influx detection. Portable tools provide comprehensive topside monitoring with acoustic, compositional, pressure, temperature, and flow rate measurements.

Down Hole Safety Valve

The service focuses on ensuring the integrity of wells through a comprehensive evaluation of safety-critical valves utilized across various well types. Key aspects of our service involve in assisting Critical Device Function Tests (CDFT) process to verify the functionality of DHSV under diverse conditions. Moreover, the project involves measuring and analyzing pressure build-up (PBU) rates within the well, evaluating the operational response of DHSV (open/close) from the surface during CDFT operations using ScanWell’s state-of-the-art EzScan acoustic measurement system in conjunction with Keller Leo pressure transmitters and assessing leak rates in accordance with industry-standard guidelines. This technology can further be coupled with the integration of LMS system to provids early detection of hydrocarbon influx by accurately measuring leak rates, facilitating the evaluation of permissible flow rates for DHSV. In summar, ScanWell critical barrier monitoring technology provides a suite of portable tools for topside quantification of gas and liquid leaks thru DHSV via hooking up at tubing top cap and obtaining a combination of acoustic, compositional analysis, pressure, temperature and mass flow rate measurements.
